Great sleep and up early to get packed for my last day in Newfoundland.
Went down for breakfast and met three RCMP Vet couples that were still there after their troop reunion.
It started to pour just as I was ready to head downtown but what's one more soaking.
Went down for breakffast and ran into Richard Dew and his wife.
They were here for a troop reunion.
They lived in Orleans and we carpooled to work at HQ for a while.
Tim and Betty Hoban were also there but had left two days before.
After breakfast I biked downtown in the rain to meet Stan Pickett who was having a jam session at Auntie Crae's.
Lots of character to the buildings on Water Street.
Stan, a local icon on the music scene,is the leader of a group that plays every Tuesday at Auntie Crae's for the past 6 years.
There is a core group of four but today there were 11 because of the visitors here for the music festival over the weekend.
Great entertainment.
Stan and Iris after driving me and the bike to the ferry in Argentia.
This is the ferry I took to get to North Sydney.
A last look back at Newfoundland.
